David Lynn is the A. G. Candler Professor of Chemistry and Biology at Emory University and a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor. He served as Chair of the Department of Chemistry for 10 years and has led scientific workshops for the National Science Foundation, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the HHMI.
He proposed and chaired the first Gordon Research Conference on Systems Chemistry. His research focuses on the systems chemistry and emergent properties of complex molecular networks that give rise to functional assemblies.
