Bio:

Judith Frydman is a leader in the Proteostasis field. Trained as a chemist and biochemist, she discovered the eukaryotic chaperonin TRiC/CCT and was the first to propose that chaperones promote cotranslational folding. Her lab studies basic aspects of proteostasis, including protein folding, degradation and aggregation.
