Judith Frydman is a leader in the Proteostasis field. Trained as a chemist and biochemist, she discovered the eukaryotic chaperonin TRiC/CCT and was the first to propose that chaperones promote cotranslational folding. Her lab studies basic aspects of proteostasis, including protein folding, degradation and aggregation.
Antiviral Approaches Targeting Proteostasis are Safe, Effective and Do Not Elicit Drug Resistance 1:50 pm
